What has been verified

• Every page works with JavaScript switched off. Nothing on this site requires script to read, navigate or understand.
• Every interactive control has a visible focus ring at 2px with a 2px offset, and a target of at least 44 by 44 pixels. Both are checked in a real browser as part of the build.
• Colour is never the only way meaning is carried. A sold-out session has the word and a hatch pattern, not only a colour.
• Every colour pair that carries text is recomputed from the source values on every build and the build fails below 4.5 to 1. Link colour on the Drowse section is darker than elsewhere for exactly this reason.
• Every image has alt text written by a person, and explicit width and height so nothing moves as the page loads.
• Motion respects prefers-reduced-motion. Where a transition carries meaning it still happens, instantly rather than gradually.
• Headings run in order, landmarks are present on every page, and there is a skip link as the first thing you reach with a keyboard.

What does not work yet

• The site has not been tested with a screen reader by a person who uses one daily. It has been checked with automated tools and by keyboard. Those are not the same thing and we are not going to claim they are.
• Images are still being produced. Where art has not been delivered, the page reserves the exact space it will occupy rather than collapsing. Alt text is already written for all of them.

Access at the venue

The sanctuary is fictional, so this section describes a building that does not exist. It is written the way a real one should be, because vague access information is the most common failure on a real venue site and it is worth showing what the alternative looks like.

• The main loop is step free and 1.4 metres wide throughout, with passing places.
• The upper walk has eleven steps and no lift. Everything visible from it is also visible from the main loop, though not from the same height.
• Nine parking spaces including two accessible bays.
• It sits at 24 degrees and 70 percent humidity, which is not comfortable for everyone. There is seating every twenty metres on the loop.
• The Drowse requires sitting still and silent for ninety minutes in that heat, and the doors do not reopen once closed.
